That’s the question! As promised, we will not only provide you with interesting, educative and fun articles; we also said that we would give you an insight into our project. So, as promised, on behalf of myself and my group members I would just like to give you guys a little update on what we have been doing exactly for the past weeks.
Currently, we are in the fifth week of our project and during these past weeks the project really started to take shape, as research was performed on several subjects such as the organisation Colin, creative industries, social innovation and the food sector within North-Brabant. Furthermore, to create some outlines for the project and the end result we created a research proposal in which the objective of the research, research questions, research methods and much more was laid out. These preliminary findings and outlines were pitched to our commissioner, and we are happy to report that he liked what he saw and we are on the right track!
With another 10 weeks to go for this project, there is still a lot to do before the actual article for Uncover can be written. The aim is to complete a research report within 4 weeks, which should result into clear outlines for the planned experiment with stakeholders. This report will focus on aspects such as best practices, the situation within Brabant regarding food and visual culture, stakeholders, creating a network and stimulating social innovation. Therefore, we are writing several experts, organisations and institutions for an interview to provide us with more insight into these subjects. Furthermore, by doing so, we hope to get people’s attention and interest into our project so that they will take part in the planned, but undefined, experiment.
So there you have it folks, an idea of what we did and what we are still planning for the next weeks. We are not only interested in these topics, but also in your opinion on our work. So if you have information, an opinion or just a shared interest, contact us or leave a post behind.
For this and more; stay tuned!
